If you believe you’re right for the job, this is the place to prove it!POSITION SUMMARY : The Content Coordinator supports the development of content across multiple education programs, with an emphasis on writing for web, digital, and print. The Content Coordinator will regularly cross-collaborate with Editorial, Provider Education, and Marketing Teams for a national oncology nonprofit organization client, the Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC). On the client-facing side, the Content Coordinator will regularly liaise with authors and subject matter experts in the healthcare field.Duties and Responsibilities : Provide editorial support to the Senior Medical Writer and Editors by participating in interdepartmental collaboration to understand and support the development of editorial deliverables for a robust portfolio of education programs.Research and write web copy, blogs, podcasts, infographics, articles, white papers, and other publications as assigned by manager.Liaise with authors and subject matter experts to ensure editorial content is received on time and that internal and external deadlines are met.Ensure timely and accurate metadata (with descriptions) for education content uploaded to the ACCC website.Brainstorm ways to optimize education content across multiple platforms, including social media to increase engagement with content.Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, or English2-4 years of professional experience in editing, copyediting, proofreading, and fact-checkingProficiency with Office 365, including TeamsAbility to communicate effectively (written and verbal)Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines, to handle a diverse workload, and to produce high-quality editorial copyMust be detail-oriented, with strong organizational skillsIs team-oriented and able to work independentlySome travel to regional / national meetings expectedPreferred Qualifications : Experience in oncology, healthcare, and / or medical technologyFamiliarity with AMA StyleFamiliarity with writing and optimizing copy for social mediaFamiliarity with content management and learning management systemsFamiliarity with Workfront
