As a National Accounts Associate, you will be pivotal in driving our company's growth by managing key accounts and uncovering new sales opportunities. Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with both current and potential clients through cold calling, virtual meetings, and face-to-face interactions, all while crafting tailored solutions that address their needs. You'll be tasked with developing and executing strategic sales plans, utilizing tools like Salesforce.com for pipeline management, and ensuring you meet revenue targets through a mix of direct sales efforts and market research. This role demands a competitive, outgoing nature and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
Responsibilities
Account Management (60%)
- Identifies and / or maximizes the sales opportunity for assigned in assigned products, customer categories, or territories, focusing on both current and potential customers, market leaders, and key influencers.
- Engage in direct sales activities, including cold calling, preparing presentations, and closing sales opportunities.
- Research customer / client needs to create a solution that meets their objectives.
- Generates direct sales from cold calling, follow-up calling, industry trade shows, virtual meetings and face-to-face meetings.
- Emphasize virtual / online and face-to-face meetings, dedicating up to 25% of time to in-territory live meetings.
- Develop and execute a sales plan to meet revenue goals, in collaboration with the manager.
