Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP.
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with tax regulations and mitigate financial risks.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants to support audits and tax preparation.
- Manage cash flow and financial planning to align with company goals.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to accounting team members to foster professional growth.
- Stay updated on accounting standards, tax laws, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Proven experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems.
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in preparing and managing budgets is a plus.
