Role Description
The Client Service Associate position is on-site at our Westport, CT location. The Client Service Associate will be responsible for managing client relationships, responding to client inquiries, providing customer support, and supporting wealth advisors. The ideal candidate is a team player and quick learner who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 5 years of client service and/or financial services experience required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of financial and investment concepts
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of investing, financial planning, retirement planning, 401k plans, and/or life insurance is a plus
- Strong technical skills and ability to learn web-based advisory software used by firm for CRM and portfolio reporting
- Must be comfortable communicating directly with clients and have excellent oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing operational and sales support to a team of wealth advisors, as well as excellent service to clients.
- Onboard new clients and manage overall onboarding process, which includes collecting client information and required documentation, processing account transfers, and monitoring account information.
- Maintain existing client relationships and provide exceptional service to clients by addressing client requests, resolving client inquiries, and serving as liaison between advisor and client.
- Support retirement plan advisors with servicing 401k plan business and assisting plan sponsors and participants.
- Prepare performance reports and other materials for wealth advisors for client review meetings.
- Perform account maintenance requests, including money transfer requests, address changes, and personal data updates.
