Assistant Manager
The Assistant Manager role is integral part of the success of our team. A detail oriented and collaborative leader who is driven by results and has a passion for movies and guest service. In this role, you will be expected to:
- Understand and assist with the execution of operational policies and procedures; (labor, cost of sales, revenue control, speed of service, guest satisfaction, equipment and procedure training, safety of guests, staff and ensure quality of on-screen movie presentation)
- Assist with various administrative processes during slower business level activity i.e. recruitment, completing initial hire procedures, data entry, running and compiling reports etc.
- Assist with the selection, training, development and employment experience of the staff
- Have a comprehensive, working-knowledge of and ability to train others on pertinent systems (POS, phones, lost & found, theatre lobby & cinema checks, etc.)
- Understand and ensure all food safety guidelines are followed as prescribed by MJR policy and industry standards
- Assist with the monitoring of guest satisfaction and service recovery opportunities, consistently identifying opportunities to enhance the move-going experience.
- Follow work safety guidelines and ensure staff members are aware of and adhere to safe work practices
- Assume role of "Manager on Duty" when deemed necessary
- Assist with other issues related to the Daily Floor Management as needed

- Able to clearly communicate expectations/goals, and can organize time and prioritize work
- Commitment to excellence in Guest service with proven ability to maintain significant attention to detail
- Proven track record in a leadership role within a fast-paced environment
