Overview : What You’ll Do

This position is a multifaceted role, including responsibilities as a grill cook, line cook, and dishwasher.

Grill Cook

  • As a Grill Cook, you are responsible for expertly preparing proteins and managing the grill station to ensure high-quality meals are delivered promptly. Key responsibilities include :
  • Cooking proteins (meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables) to perfection based on guest specifications.
  • Managing ticket orders efficiently to ensure timely service.
  • Maintaining the grill station, ensuring cleanliness and proper use of equipment.
  • Monitoring grill temperatures and ensuring food safety standards are upheld.
  • Line Cook

    The Line Cook position involves multitasking across various prep and assembly stations to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Key responsibilities include :

    Salad Station :

    Prepping fresh salads and crafting a variety of vinaigrettes.

    Ensuring all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and ready for service.

    Plating :

    Assembling and plating salads and entree dishes with attention to presentation and consistency.

    Ensuring each dish meets restaurant standards for quality and appearance.

    Skewering :

    Skewering meats, poultry, and vegetables for grilling.

    Ensuring uniform cuts and precise preparation for consistent cooking results.

    Dishwasher

    As a Dishwasher, you are crucial to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Key responsibilities include :

    Washing and sanitizing skewers, dishes, utensils, pots, and pans before, during, and after service.

    Maintaining a clean and functional dishwashing area throughout the day.

    Assisting with general kitchen cleaning tasks, including equipment and floor cleaning.

    Ensuring all dishware and cookware are ready for use during service.

  • Grill Temperatures :
  • oRequires working in a hot environment, especially near the grill, which can reach temperatures of 600-700°F throughout service.

    oIndividuals working the grill must be comfortable operating in these high-temperature conditions for extended periods.

  • Temperature Variations :
  • oWhile there are no walk-in freezers, opening freezer doors may expose employees to brief, cold conditions.

    oMay occasionally involve working in close proximity to cold storage areas.
