Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The Cleaner will ensure that all assigned areas are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks in various settings, including commercial buildings and residential properties.
- Execute floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Conduct custodial duties including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the overall upkeep of the premises.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas and assist with porter duties as required.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is a plus.
- Familiarity with custodial practices and facilities maintenance is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
