Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Manager to join our dynamic team in a bar/nightclub environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will play a vital role in managing the bar area, ensuring high-quality beverage service while collaborating with kitchen staff and other team members.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and equipment.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and tracking usage.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Assist in training new bartenders and support team management as needed.
- Utilize Sky Tab POS system for order processing and payment transactions.
- Uphold all safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage team dynamics effectively.
- Experience in food service management or casual dining environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with Sky Tab POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards guests and staff alike.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
