Our client is seeking a Legal Assistant with exceptional writing skills, a bachelor’s degree, and a passion for client-facing activities. This role will support multiple departments, manage the implementation of policies, processes, and filings, and provide direct, substantive support to attorneys overseeing these clients.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, including professionals in land development, engineering, water and sewer infrastructure, and finance.
- Attend in-office and out-of-office Board of Directors meetings (some travel and non-standard hours required) and draft meeting minutes.
- Draft agendas, orders, resolutions, and other documents; coordinate execution and electronic filing.
- Compile and analyze information from internal and external resources.
- Draft professional correspondence and edit various documents with attention to detail.
- Maintain client calendars, monitor contract compliance, and assist with bond sales, elections, and real estate matters.
- Respond to inquiries from directors, residents, and governmental agencies.
- Engage in industry and client networking opportunities.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 5 years of professional experience providing administrative support (i.e. Legal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Executive Assistant type roles)
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and proofreading.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet strict deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Willingness to attend meetings outside standard business hours.
