Our client in North Houston is looking for a Temporary Procurement Admin to join their team for a 3-4 month assignment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring smooth procurement operations. You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team that values open communication and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and track purchase orders to ensure accuracy and timely processing
- Follow up with suppliers on order status, resolve any delays, and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Maintain and update vendor records to ensure compliance with company requirements
- Process transactions and maintain accurate procurement records using SAP (a must-have skill!)
- Assist the procurement team with general administrative tasks and process improvements
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of procurement experience – understanding of purchasing processes and supplier coordination
- Proficiency in SAP is required – ability to navigate and process orders within the system
- Excellent communication and organizational skills – ability to collaborate effectively and follow up with suppliers
- Attention to detail & problem-solving skills – ensuring accurate order processing and resolving supplier issues proactively
- No degree required – just a great work ethic, willingness to learn, and a proactive mindset
Pay: $25/hr
