MK Services Inc. is hiring a General Facilities and Machine Shop Maintenance Technician!
The General Facilities and Machine Shop Maintenance Technician maintains a precision machine shop's building, machinery, equipment, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Checking and filling coolants and oils in machines, and other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- Building Maintenance: Small project building repairs, lawn care, snow and ice removal, and other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Equipment Upgrades: Assist in the installation and upgrading of new machinery and equipment.
- Housekeeping: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the machine shop to maintain operational effectiveness by sweeping and cleaning shop floors, cleaning equipment, removing trash, and performing other duties assigned by the maintenance manager.
- Assist with general facilities duties, such as changing over water dispensers and ice-melting walkways as needed.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.

Building maintenance, machine maintenance, and auto repair are a plus.
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Carpentry or woodworking experience skills.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various environmental conditions, ability to work on ladders and aerial lifts up to a height of 16 feet.
