MK Services is seeking an experienced Mechanical / Quality Inspector with 1st PC and Final inspection experience to add to our growing team. MK Services has been in business for over 30 years and is a leader in the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical Industriesin Middleton, MA! Our company has been very successful over these past 30 years and we are now experiencing rapid growth!
Applicants should have Mechanical Inspection experience with a minimum of 2 years. Applicants must be able to read and understand complicated drawings containing GD&T codes. Applicants must make use of standard inspection equipment and measurement techniques. This role requires that you have experience inspecting metal parts.
Compensation is based on skill level. Our rates are highly competitive for the market!
Key Responsibilities
- First piece, In-process, and final inspection
- Inspecting any defects and discrepancies to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Measuring products with micrometers, calipers, smart scopes, etc.
- Record and report issues to supervisors or machinists
- Support process improvement
- Interpret customer requirements when inspecting products.
- Use standard visual inspection methods and techniques for general and customer-specific requirements
- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
- Understanding and interpreting complex mechanical drawings.
- Understanding of production procedure.
- Adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Attention to detail.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- 1st Pc and Final Inspection
- GD&T
- Experience as a CMM Operator (a plus)
