(BCI), a division of MKD Electric is a leading provider of control and systems integration solutions to manufacturers with focused experience in the food and beverage, pet food, pharmaceutical, plastics, specialty chemicals, and feed and grain industries. BCI has been providing control systems integration solutions to the manufacturing environment for 40 years. Bachelor Controls, Inc. has an opening for a Senior Controls Engineer.
The purpose of this position is to design and deliver quality controls solutions to our customers, while managing projects of moderate scope or importance so they are on time and within budget. What you'll do...
- Work independently and as a team to deliver controls solutions
- Electrical panel design and schematics
- Design/develop PLC programs
- Design/develop HMI applications
- Test/debug hardware and software solutions
- Checkout control panels
- Complete projects on time and within budget
- Perform start-up services at customer facilities
- Troubleshoot control systems
What you'll need to succeed...
- BS Degree in Engineering: Electrical, Mechanical, or related, P.E. preferred
- 5-7 years’ experience with duties as outlined above
- PLC programming experience: Primarily Rockwell Logix family and/or Siemens or Modicon
- Experience with using RSView, Wonderware, or Intellution
- Schematic design experience: wiring, power distribution and loading, panel layouts, P&IDs
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours as required by customers
- Ability to travel to jobsites
- Project Management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- SCADA – not required but useful
- Valid US driver’s License
- Ability to work in the US without restriction
- Must pass initial drug screening and background check
