Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Perform Electrical Services Maintenance - Perform inspections of department assets for building code compliance and maintenance needs. Perform routine and emergency repairs of electrical systems to include wiring, appliances, generators, switches, equipment, apparatus, controls and fixtures.
- Administration - Inventory supplies, process work orders and maintain logs. Review blueprints, building codes and technical manuals. Assist with project management and ensure relevant safety codes and regulations are followed.
- Locate Utilities - Locate and identify buried underground electrical and communication utilities accurately and efficiently.
- Equipment Maintenance - Inspect and maintain all equipment and tools related to the performance of job duties.
- Special assignments and projects.
- Ability to properly or safely operate: vehicles, heavy machinery, hand tools, power tools, computers and standard office equipment.
- Ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 65 lbs.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Current residency within the State of Wisconsin required
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License required and must be maintained throughout employment
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency required
- Five (5) years or more of work experience as an Electrician required
- State of Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License required
- Basic knowledge of all related computer and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams required
- State of Wisconsin Master Electrician License preferred
- Previous work experience with fire alarm, uninterruptible power source, HVAC control, frequency drive, and emergency generator systems preferred
- Completion of an Electrician Apprenticeship preferred
