About Our Client : Our client is a well-established general contractor / construction manager with a 50 year history of delivering excellence in the commercial construction industry. With offices across the Northeast, the firm is looking now towards expansion.
With extensive self-perform and true in-house design-build capabilities, and a dedicated staff of over 500 people, the firm operates across the full range of market sectors including education, healthcare, life sciences, mission critical, hospitality, industrial, and general commercial construction.
Why Our Client is Hiring : The current President of the firm is planning for retirement in the next 1-2 years. Whilst the firm has a strong bench of executives, they do not have an internal candidate who has the right combination of experience and who can lead the firm for the next 5-10 years. They are looking to bring in a long-term strategic leader who is capable of writing the next chapter of their story.
Key Responsibilities :
- Leadership : You will be responsible for providing leadership to over 500 people, promoting the firm's company culture, fostering a productive workplace, and building and maintaining a top-level team across the firm.
- Business Strategy & Growth : You will be the key driver of business strategy, leading the firm's growth and expansion efforts, identifying opportunities, and developing plans to exploit them.
- Client Relationships : You will be the primary face of the business, bringing in and maintaining relationships with key accounts and overseeing the firm's sales activities as a whole.
- Operational Expertise : You will play a key role in operational oversight, ensuring that project teams are delivering to the highest standards and maintaining client satisfaction.
