Job Summary
The Construction Superintendent plays a critical role in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This position is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are executed according to the project schedule, quality standards, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of construction management processes.

Duties

• Manage daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is performed safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate project progress.
• Oversee project scheduling using tools such as Bluebeam, Primavera to ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the construction process.
• Prepare and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
• Utilize construction management software like Prolog for effective project tracking and documentation.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
• Maintain clear communication with project managers and stakeholders regarding project status and any potential delays.

Skills

• Proficient in project scheduling techniques, particularly using Bluebeam Primavera software.
• Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
• Experience with contract management and negotiation.
• Familiarity with quality control processes in a construction environment.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities on-site.
• Knowledge of pipeline construction processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with various stakeholders effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during the construction process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
