We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the construction of a new community park that will serve as a recreational hub for the local area. This position will oversee all aspects of project execution, from abatement and demolition to design finalization, permitting, and construction. The role requires strong leadership, coordination with design-build partners, and the ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Oversight & Execution:
- Manage the construction of a multi-acre community park, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
- Oversee abatement and demolition of existing structures as part of a larger site redevelopment plan.
- Coordinate with architects, landscape architects, and design-build partners to finalize designs and secure necessary permits.
- Monitor project schedule, budget, and resources, ensuring all milestones are met.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Supervise a small project team, including Project Engineers and Superintendents.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Lead weekly project meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and solutions.
Quality & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure construction activities comply with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor work quality and adherence to design specifications.
- Enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment for all team members.
