2025 Summer- Project Management Assistant Intern/Co-Op

Undergraduate Intern / Co-op Program Overview :

• 3 months Summer 2025 (June to Aug.), 40 hours a week, intern / co-op, within a functional area of MKS Instruments that provides students a comprehensive and engaging experience from before your program starts to after the program ends.

A Day in Your Life at MKS :

As an Assistant Project Manager Intern at MKS you will partner with the P&RG team to support the cross functional groups (ex Product Management, Engineering, Quality.). In this role, you will report to the Business Unit Project Manager.

You will make an impact by providing daily support to assist the team with the following tasks :

Submit Supplier Problem Statements SPS) / Supplier Notification Form (SNF) requests to Applied Materials (~20%)

Coordinate w MKS team for problem statement and all necessary information

Monitor and respond to Applied Materials SPS / SNF portal

Assist w coordinating and tracking Supplier PCNs (20%)

Sent notification to the Eng team

Track status in excel file

NPI Meeting minutes and attendance (~10%)

Assist w UPF tracking and updating (10%)

Update and maintain pre and post checklists

Coordinate w team on releasing product after successful build

Update Planisware projects and status bi-weekly w management team (~5-10%)

Maintain incoming Material Receipts of Purchase orders (~5%)

Deliver Material to respective owners (engineers)

Back up support for PjM vacations / sick time (~5%)

Update and maintain MKS acronyms list, as needed (2%)

Skills You Bring :

Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Business, or relevant majors

40 hrs a week, Summer 2025

Any experience managing projects

Compensation and Benefits :

Hourly Pay Range : $23.00 to $25.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

Benefits : MKS offers a benefits package for interns / co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.

The application period for the intern / co-op position is estimated to be through the end of March 2025; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidate
