Undergraduate Co-op Program Overview-
As a Strategic Marketing analytics intern at MKS, you will identify and utilize appropriate AI and data analysis tools to perform market and data analytics for MKS's markets and business. In this role, you will learn existing strategic marketing processes and tasks and modernize and automate reports and analysis with latest tools. This is a highly influential spot - you will streamline and improve processes and analysis for MKS business intelligence, reporting to the Vice President of Strategic Marketing at MKS.
You Will Make An Impact By
Hourly Pay Range: $19.00 to $33.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis. The application period for the intern/co-op position is estimated to be through the end of March 2025; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

- Survey, test, recommend, and utilize appropriate AI and data analytics tools for market and business intelligence and analyses.
- Automate and improve existing workflows
- Obtain and align internal intelligence.
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree or Master's/PhD program for Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics or relevant majors
- Basic understanding of business concepts: Sales, Cost, Margin, Market, Competitor, TAM/SAM/share
- Fluent use of Microsoft office
- In depth understanding of the latest AI tools for problem solving, automation, generation
- Basic Statistics Concepts
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Familiarity with AI models – OpenAI, DeepSeek, Grok, Llama, etc. other imaging and video generation tools as well.
- Marketing and marketing analytics
- Data analytics, data visualization toolsets such as powerBI or Tableau
- Excel and Power Query
