IT Director - Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Operation Systems

As the Director of IT for Manufacturing Operations and Supply Chain, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, implementation, management, and optimization of all technology solutions supporting Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations within the organization with a primary focus on SAP and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) as well as several key Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and Export Compliance systems.

This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of Manufacturing operations and supply chain processes systems to advise and influence decision making around technology and process improvements to advance the MKS vision.

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for Manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations, aligning IT initiatives with business objectives and financial goals.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their business objectives, challenges, and technology requirements.
  • Engage in strategic planning sessions with business leaders to identify long-term technology investments and innovation opportunities that drive business growth and competitiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, system enhancements, and technology innovations to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead several teams responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, QA and Export Compliance applications, including SAP ECC, Oracle EBS and SAP IBP among others.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Oversee the implementation and deployment of improvements to SAP and Oracle EBS as well as expansion of key capabilities to support MKS across Manufacturing and Supply Chain, ensuring successful integration with existing systems and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors, consultants, and service providers, negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to service level agreements.

What you bring to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in an IT experience , with a focus on Manufacturing and Supply Chain applications with at least 4 years of leadership.
  • Proven expertise in SAP and/ or Oracle EBS.
  • Strong understanding Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, vendor management, budget planning, and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of Global Trade, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Demand Management, Supply Chain planning and the master data constructs that support each process.
  • Experience working through an ERP migration journey from assessment through deployment with an intimate understanding of how to plan and execute a successful migration.
  • Broad understanding of the integration across Manufacturing, Supply Chain and ERP systems as well as third party tools that support niche processes like transport management, global trade compliance, export declarations among others.
  • Experience in Analytics, Automation, RPA and AI used in the context of Manufacturing and Supply Chain Planning.
  • Experience in the Semiconductor industry is a plus.
