As the First Shift Production Technician, you will be responsible for the process of making diffraction gratings, reporting to the Senior Team Lead
You Will Make an Impact By :
This role may be located on either of the below teams listed (Coating, Cementing, Take Apart, Layout / Inspection, or Testing). The Production Technician I will be responsible to handle a variety of sizes and weights of our products and requires good dexterity and eye hand coordination. Quality, precision and ability to follow work instructions are a must. Ability to use a computer and MS office is required.
Inspect optics to ensure customer specifications are met
Accurately complete required documentation for each job processed
Learn to recognize part defects

A minimum of one-year experience in a production environment, ideal candidate has experience at MKS
An AA degree, vocational training or military technical training preferred but not required
Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments
Attention to detail and quality, ability to check and identify defects
Ability to read and carefully follow work instructions are a must
Physical Demands and Working Conditions :
Able to lift 30 lbs several times a day''
Compensation and Benefits :
Hourly Pay Range : $20-22 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
