The SME Cyber Security Lead supports all cybersecurity functions within the USARPAC Area of Responsibility and serves as a direct consultant to the USARPAC G61 Cybersecurity Manager. Responsibilities include managing risk and compliance for the DODIN-AP network, overseeing A&A for 11 networks, supporting Army-to-Army cybersecurity engagements across the Pacific, and contributing to Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) for exercises and real-world events.
Work Location: On-site in Honolulu, HI, as directed by the customer.
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship; Active DoD TS/SCI clearance at start.
IAM Level III Certification (GSLC, CISM, CISSP).
10 years' experience with DoD/Army cybersecurity policy.
3 years' experience in Cybersecurity planning, DCO, and program management.
Experience with Army tactical communications systems, Mission Partner Environment, and USARPAC AOR.
Proven ability to brief and influence senior leadership.
Strong interpersonal, writing, and leadership skills.
Desired Qualifications:
10 years' direct Army cybersecurity experience.
Technical research and whitepaper development skills.
Degree in relevant technical field (e.g., CS, IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Math).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage cybersecurity operations and personnel.
Ensure compliance with DoD/Army cybersecurity standards.
Evaluate policies, manage A&A, and oversee DODIN-AP network changes.
Support DCO and cybersecurity integration across USARPAC exercises and missions.
Conduct inspections, compliance reviews, technical consultations, and research.
Provide cybersecurity expertise during training exercises and real-world events.
