Senior Full Stack Developer
Summary: MKS2 is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer who will own/contribute to one or more components of our web application and produce scalable software solutions.
You will be joining a multi-functional engineering team in Austin, TX, whose mission is to build a consumer facing product for a government agency using full Agile software development life cycles.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.
Requirements: (5 Years)
- Full-stack web development, including Typescript, web-standards, and modern frameworks
- Proven experience with one or more front-end frameworks such as React and Redux
- Good understanding and experience with containers (Kubernetes), build systems, and infrastructure automation (AWS)
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Experience with performance tuning, profiling, and debugging JavaScript applications in Node.js back-end environment.
- Experience with Java / C# is highly desirable.
- Experience working with SQL DB systems such as Postgres, Redshift, Snowflake, or MongoDB.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment; continuous deployment, test-driven development, agile methodologies.
- Desire to work in a collaborative environment with a tight-knit team of passionate engineers.
- Understand and follow SOLID Principles of Software Development
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills \
Responsibilities:
- Stay current with the latest front-end and back-end technologies and best practices and share your findings with the team.
- Help evolve our front-end and backend stack. Collaborate to establish patterns and best practices.
- Work as part of an agile team across a variety of application domains
- Write structured, tested, readable, and maintainable code.
- Own the projects from software design to implementation to deployment and operation.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distributed knowledge.
Desired Skills:
- BS in Computer Science or closely related computer technical field with 5 years’ experience in programming.
- Systems Deign experience in Python and Data Pipelining
- Experience working on technical side projects or made open source contributions
- Knowledge of ETL pipelining principles, practice, and tools to move and enrich large datasets
- TS/SCI clearance preferred; ability to obtain clearance level of Secret or higher.
