Security Education Training & Awareness Officer
We are hiring for a great technical opportunity for a Security Education Training & Awareness Officer - Top Secret clearance to work onsite for our Springfield, VA location. This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
Pay:$110,000 - $125,000
Location: Springfield, VA
Clearance: Top Secret or above
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- The SETA Officer is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the development, facilitation, and implementation of a multi-disciplinary security training and awareness curriculum for SCI programs. The ideal SETA Officer requires excellent writing and speaking skills, creativity, sound judgment, and initiative.
Qualifications
Education:
- Master's degree or higher: > 2 years experience; or
- Bachelor's degree or higher: > 3 years experience; or
- Associate's degree: > 6 years experience; or
- High School/GED: > 8 years experience
Experience:
- Experience in creating a security training program for a large program office.
- Experience in creating recurring schedules.
- Experience conducting briefs to large audiences.
- Experience tracking training certificates and updating training records.
- Working knowledge of DODM 5200.01 Vol.1-3.
- Working knowledge of ICD 700 and 703.
- Working knowledge of E.O. 13526.
- Familiarity with the 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM.
- At least 3 years experience building briefs using the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to balance policy requirements with program mission and timelines.
- Ability to develop Annual Program Security and SCI Refresher Training.
- Must be aware of all DoD and IC Training requirements and seamlessly implement them in a Training curriculum.
- Ability to engender rapport with the military, civilians, and other contractors at all levels.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the DODM 5205.07, Vol. 1-4.
- Familiarity with ICS 703-01.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) Training Curriculum
Additional Requirements:
- The position requires to be onsite due to the classified nature/location of the program.
- Security Clearance: This position will require U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD TS/SCI clearance and will require the ability to obtain and maintain a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
