JOB TITLE : Software Engineer for Analysis Support
PAY : $105,000 Max - benefits included
LOCATION : Huntsville, AL - on-site
Direct-hire - full-time
JOB SUMMARY :
The primary focus of the position will be to work with the other analysts to develop the analysis tools and scripts needed to automatically process test data from different sources to help with the efficient analysis of the collected data. . The applicant will be required to enhance existing tool sets and scripts, and make recommendations for updates, as well as introduce new tools and processing techniques to further enhance the tool sets available to the analysts. The developed tool sets will need to automated and integrated into the development CI / CD pipeline.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ability to read and understand Java, C, C , and / or Fortran. - Experience in Agile Environments would be helpful.
- Experience with DOORS, JIRA, Confluence, or other project management tools. - Excellent written and oral communications skills required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and capabilities of developed tool to all audiences including technical subject matter experts and senior leaders
- Experience with missile defense battle management and command & control systems desired
- Knowledge of basic message formats such as TADIL-J
QUALIFICATIONS :
Demonstrated proficiency using MATLAB, Python, and / or Java to perform data analysis Ability to develop scripts and programs to assist with analysis in Java.
