SOFTWARE ENGINEER I
JOB DESCRIPTION
PROJECT/SKILLS
• Describe the project they will be working on: One of our aircrew training device programs located in STL (most likely one of either: F-22, F-15, Apache or P-8)
• Main job responsibilities: Assists with the documentation and maintenance of requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems. Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system. Assists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met. Troubleshoots basic software issues.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Top 3-5 Skills needed to perform this role/job:
2 or more years of experience with C, C , C#, Python, Java, Ada, MatLab, or Linux.
1 or more years working in Agile software development framework.
1 or more years of experience with real-time embedded software development.
Familiar working with and/or developing software requirements/test methodology.
Type of background you are looking for (education, # yrs experience, etc.): Bachelor’s degree or greater in a technical field of study.

Any certifications required: none.
