This position will focus on the integration of the R&D systems into and will contribute to other ongoing X-Lab projects as needed. This includes the assessment on how prototype systems perform, integrating source tracks into the prototype and assessing track processing results, generating and assessing concurrent radar and sensor tracks during M&S and live flight test events, and enhancing experimental prototypes based on results of these activities. The Software Engineer will apply these results to identify and work to enhance the program for future operations.
The successful Software Engineer will also be responsible for the following :
- Assist with planning, scheduling and development of verification analysis tools
- Coordinate, develop and maintain analysis and test tracking tools
- Ensure proper backup / archiving of test products and analysis datasets
- Develop and maintain analysis tools in accordance with requirements provided by the test analysts including Excel-based tools (VBA) Java-based tools
