- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to support company growth and market expansion.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with developers, architects, contractors, and other industry stakeholders.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities that align with company goals, including partnerships, RFPs, and joint ventures.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and new project opportunities.
- Oversee and support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and client outreach materials.
- Ensure adherence to safety policies, regulatory guidelines, and maintain a clean driving record for client meetings and site visits.
- Handle all administrative responsibilities throughout the entire sales process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
- Experience: 7 years in business development, preferably in the architecture, design, or construction industries, with proven success in expanding client bases and winning new projects.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of architecture, design, and construction project lifecycles and industry-specific challenges.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to think long-term while executing short-term goals, identifying trends, and understanding competitive positioning.
- Marketing Acumen: Experience with marketing strategies, brand positioning, and working with marketing teams to ensure message consistency.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling presentations and present to various stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in market analysis, financial modeling, and understanding client needs to shape services and strategies effectively.
