Physical Therapist Job Title
We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Point Pleasant, WV. This role focuses on Skilled (Swing) and Acute Care patients, with occasional Outpatient coverage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients in Swing (Skilled Nursing) and Acute Care settings.
- Collaborate with a team of PTs and PTAs to deliver top-quality care.
- Utilize ReDoc and Meditech Expanse for documentation (training provided if needed).
- Work with patients of all ages, ensuring individualized care plans.
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Weekend Coverage: Possible but infrequent for Swing patients
- Caseload: 8-10 patients per day
- Staff Support: 2 full-time PTs, 1 PRN PT, 7 full-time PTAs
Requirements:
- Active West Virginia Physical Therapy License
- Experience in Swing (Skilled Nursing) and Acute Care (Outpatient is a plus but not required)
- Ability to work independently and start ASAP
- Must complete hospital orientation (1 day) and departmental orientation (1 day)
Credentialing Requirements:
- Drug Screen & Background Check
- Flu Shot & COVID Vaccine Record (or Declination Forms)
- TB Skin Test & Vaccination Verification
- HIPAA & Code of Conduct Attestation
