Director of Training and Development
MLPG is seeking a Director of Training and Development to design, implement, and evaluate training programs that enhance employee skills and align with strategic goals. This role will conduct training needs analysis, develop curriculum, deliver training sessions, and track program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify skill gaps through training needs analysis and prioritize development areas.
- Align training initiatives with business objectives by collaborating with the executive team.
- Develop comprehensive training programs, including course outlines, learning objectives, and instructional materials.
- Utilize various training methodologies, including classroom instruction, e-learning, blended learning, and simulations.
- Incorporate subject matter experts (SMEs) in curriculum development.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and company meetings.
- Adapt training materials for different audiences and experience levels.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to trainees.
- Analyze training data, track key metrics, and report findings to the CEO.
- Manage the LMS platform (GROW) for course enrollment, progress tracking, and content updates.
- Represent MLPG in National Apartment Association and local apartment association events.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or education preferred.
- Experience in multi-family housing preferred.
- Proven experience designing and delivering training programs.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to learn and use LMS platforms and other company software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% if required.
This is a key leadership role responsible for strengthening MLPG’s workforce through structured learning and development initiatives.
Salary : $87,500 - $115,000
