JOB SUMMARY
The Compliance Manager is responsible for the routine functions of the Compliance department including maintaining ELD and MVR procedures to remain in DOT compliance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for maintaining and periodically reviewing policies and procedures for the DOT compliance program; specifically related to ELD and HOS
- MVR Management
- Deliver training and support to the branches as needed.
- Respond to alleged violations of regulations, policies, and standards of conduct by evaluating or recommending the initiation of investigative procedures.
- Develop and implement corrective actions for violations of policies, procedures, and regulations. Then the updating of personnel files to demonstrate the action was completed.
- Coordinate with the corporate trainer to develop a multifaceted educational training program that focuses on the elements of the DOT compliance program. Also, responsible for ensuring that all employees and management are knowledgeable of, and comply with, pertinent state and federal standards under applicable FMCSA regulations.
- Manage the organization’s environmental performance and ensuring that we comply with environmental laws.
- Direct programs, policies, and practices to ensure that all companies and branches are complying.
- Track laws and regulations that might affect the organization’s policies and implement necessary changes.
- Work with the regional safety managers to ensure that all companies and branches are following state and federal safety regulations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or associate’s degree in business administration with 3 years’ experience OR 5 years’ experience in a DOT compliance management role.
- Experience in a unionized environment is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
