Job Functions
- In a business development role, identify and solicit new business from the top mortgage brokers.
- Work as mediators between mortgage brokers and financial institutions.
- Meet quarterly sales targets as outlined by the Wholesale Director.
- Develop, maintain and enhance mortgage broker relationships.
- Reviewing mortgage loans to ensure mortgage broker’s application packages are complete before being submitted.
- Contribute to the growth of MLB’s wholesale division and the brand through proactively generating new relationships and actively networking in the mortgage industry.
- Develop new business through cold-calling, follow-through with referrals, and outside sales activities.
Qualifications
- 1-2 Years’ experience selling mortgage products in the residential lending industry is preferred
- Basic knowledge of residential mortgage loans, deal structures, underwriting, and wholesale lending
- 1-2 Years’ sales experience in some facet of financial services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
