Cardiovascular Sonographer
MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a dedicated full-time Cardiovascular Sonographer to join a vibrant team at a reputable acute-care hospital located near Abilene, Texas!
Salary Range: $80,909 - $95,929 per year
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Diagnostic Examinations: Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and stress echocardiograms with precision and meticulous attention to detail.
- Work Schedule: Day shifts, Monday to Friday.
- Evaluate Patient Data: Review and analyze patient history, symptoms, and test results to support accurate medical diagnoses.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work in partnership with cardiologists and other healthcare providers to create and adjust individualized care plans for patients.
- Maintain Equipment: Ensure the proper maintenance, calibration, and operational readiness of ultrasound machines.
Requirements:
- One year of hands-on training or graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
- RDCS or RCS certification in adult echocardiography or RVT or RVS certification in vascular ultrasound (to be obtained within one year of hire).
- CPR certification.
- Ability to perform all cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures offered in Non-Invasive Cardiology.
- Proficiency in utilizing all relevant equipment, including ultrasound systems, PVR, BP monitors, and computer systems.
- Attend required training programs, staff meetings, and complete online learning modules.
- Must be available for on-call duty as scheduled, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
