MLR Healthcare is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. In this role, you will perform a range of nuclear medicine procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, contributing to our commitment to providing outstanding healthcare to the community.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including SPECT scans, PET scans, bone scans, cardiac stress tests, and thyroid uptake studies.
- Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals according to hospital protocols.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment, such as gamma cameras and PET / CT scanners, to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to provide accurate, timely reports based on imaging results.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient information, procedures, and radiopharmaceutical usage.
- Clean and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions or issues.
- Educate patients on procedures, answering any questions or addressing concerns.
