Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Technologist
MLR is partnering with a local hospital just outside of Columbia, SC, to recruit a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) for a full-time weekday position. This role offers an opportunity to provide essential diagnostic testing, ensuring high-quality patient care in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Shift : Full-time, weekdays.
- Perform venipuncture for patients of all ages, ensuring accurate specimen collection.
- Conduct diagnostic testing in various departments, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality control, documenting corrective actions, and making decisions on patient results.
- Participate in competency testing, professional development, and in-service training sessions.
- Use the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and relevant computer applications to manage patient data.
