Rad Tech Care Guide Summary : The Radiology Technologist Care Guide is responsible for managing the entire patient experience, from registration and payment collection to room preparation and care assistance. Key responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, performing x-rays, and coordinating discharge and follow-up processes. Acting as a liaison, the Care Guide ensures a seamless experience while supporting patients and their guests to enhance overall clinical quality.
Rad Tech Care Guide REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education : Completion of a formal Radiography program with an associated certificate or degree.
- Licenses / Certifications : Licensed with IEMA; BLS for Health Care Providers (American Heart Association), to be completed within 2 weeks of hire. ARRT (R) registry eligible; must complete ARRT registry within 6 months of hire.
- Other Requirements / Information : Ability to float between clinics as needed.
- Skills / Knowledge : Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient with computers and Microsoft software.
