Position Overview :
As a Radiologic Technologist , you will be an essential member of our healthcare team, performing diagnostic radiologic procedures and helping to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. You'll use advanced imaging technology to capture high-quality diagnostic images, assist physicians in diagnosis, and provide exceptional care to our patients throughout the imaging process.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform radiographic imaging exams (X-rays, CT scans, etc.) with a focus on quality and accuracy
Operate imaging equipment and position patients appropriately for optimal results
Ensure patient safety by following all established protocols and radiation safety standards
Provide compassionate care by explaining procedures to patients and making them feel comfortable
Work closely with healthcare teams to deliver timely and accurate diagnostic results
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and imaging results
Follow department protocols and participate in quality improvement efforts
Qualifications :
Education : Associate's Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology
Certification : Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
State License : Must hold or be eligible for licensure in Indiana
Experience : Prior experience in radiologic technology is preferred but not required
Skills : Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude
Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
