MLR is actively seeking ARDMS-certified Ultrasound Technologists to become part of our client’s dedicated team in Texas. Key Responsibilities for an Ultrasound Tech:

• Conduct high-quality ultrasound examinations as requested by physicians, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and employ optimal techniques to capture the best diagnostic images.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns with professionalism and care.
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret diagnostic images.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with institutional guidelines.
• Adhere to safety standards and infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe clinical environment.

Ultrasound Tech Qualifications:

• ARDMS certification required in one or more specialties.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary.
• Texas Department of State Health Services certification is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
