Major League Football is an exciting new startup league launching its inaugural season in 2025. MLF San Antonio is looking for a dynamic and experienced Head Football Coach to lead the franchise in its first season and beyond. This is an incredible opportunity to shape the future of professional football in San Antonio!

Position Overview:

As the Head Football Coach, you will be responsible for leading the MLF San Antonio franchise, building a competitive team, and creating a winning culture. You will oversee all football operations, including coaching, strategy, training, and game preparation. The ideal candidate will have a strong football background, proven leadership skills, and a passion for developing athletes and guiding them to success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the team’s coaching staff and athletes to ensure top-tier performance throughout the season.
• Develop and implement effective game strategies, training programs, and player development initiatives.
• Collaborate with team management on roster decisions, including recruitment and player evaluation.
• Represent MLF San Antonio in media and public relations activities.
• Manage in-game coaching decisions, ensuring the team executes strategies effectively.
• Maintain a strong, positive relationship with players, staff, and the community.
• Drive a winning culture both on and off the field.

Compensation:

The Head Coach will be paid a percentage of ticket and merchandise sales generated once the season kicks off, offering an exciting opportunity for earnings based on team success and fan engagement.

Qualifications:

• Extensive coaching experience in football (college, professional, or other competitive leagues).
• Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
• Ability to develop and execute effective game strategies.
• Passion for the sport and a commitment to fostering a positive, competitive team environment.
• Strong understanding of professional football and its operational dynamics.
• Previous experience in a Head Coach or Assistant Coach position is highly preferred.
