The essential responsibilities of the Computer Software Specialist 3 will include providing technical guidance and assistance for software systems, system development and operations and must always ensure current knowledge of changes in the Information Technology areas. Will serve as MLGW's representative while working with vendors on hardware / software purchases / implementations / problem solutions and help maintain MLGW computer standards.
Qualification Requirements :
To perform the Computer Software Specialist 3 role, you must :
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration in Information Systems
- Have a Bachelor's degree in Math with a concentration in Computer Science
- Have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 hours college accredited Information Technology of Information Systems courses
- Have 6 years of experience in database, computer hardware / software, mainframe, networking, programming or system analysis skills
- Possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
- Have at least one (1) year of demonstrated experience in a primary support function for a particular system or application and demonstrated knowledge and skills in one of the following fields :
Database : Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IDMS, MySQL, RDBMS, OODBMS,
XML DBMS, SQL, PL / SQL, database scripting languages, ArcGIS Spatial
Database Engine (ArcSDE), Oracle Applications Database Administration,
Oracle middleware, database-oriented middleware, job scheduling and workflow
management systems.
Applications Programming : C , Visual Basic, ACCESS, Delphi, Visual Basic for
administration, MIMS administration AutoCAD Administration, Oracle SQL,
ArcGIS .NET API, FME Server and FME Desktop, ArcFM Desktop, ArcGIS Pro,
Pro C, JAVA, SQL, PL / SQL, Oracle Developer 2000, Oracle Forms, Oracle
Applications R12 or higher, Oracle Apex, Oracle Discoverer, Banner, Business
Intelligence, Crystal Reports, XML Publisher, Oracle Reports or other current
programming languages, Objective-C, Cocoa API, Xcode, RIM API, Data
Integrator, ETL tools, Data Warehouse system administration / support, data
modeling, data extraction, data warehouse concepts and (Python a plus).
Oracle Business Intelligence Application (OBIA), Oracle Data Integrator (ODI),
Weblogic, Enterprise Manager, PowerBI, Oracle Data Visualization; Oracle EBS /

Physical Working Conditions :
Works inside in an office environment. Subject to sitting for long periods of time utilizing a computer. Occasional lifting, bending, stooping / crouching to transport equipment.
If none qualified for a CSS3, a qualified CSS2 will be accepted. If none qualified for a CSS2, a qualified CSS1 will be accepted.
