The essential job responsibilities of the Painter Maintenance position are to prepare surfaces for painting; paint various equipment, structures / buildings; repair windows; hang / repair vinyl wall covering; stripe parking lots; and install tile floors.
Qualification Requirements :
To perform the Painter Maintenance role, you must :
- Successfully complete Placement / Performance Exercises
- Be able to differentiate mixed / sample colors
- Have knowledge / skills in painting
- Have a valid driver's license from state of residence
Physical Working Conditions :
Works inside and outside. Subject to hazards of falling, working in proximity of high voltage electricity, chlorine gas, fluoride acids, steam boilers / pipes under pressure, electrical equipment, operating machinery, traffic, working with rotary power tools, bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, pushing, pulling, balancing, grasping, standing / walking for long periods of time, heavy lifting and climbing heights to 200 feet.
