Transcript Coordinator
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Transcript Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of student transcripts, including preparation, review and issuance. This role ensures that transcripts are accurate, comply with academic regulations, and meet the needs of students, alumni, and external institutions. The position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work closely with staff and students on transcript-related matters.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing Student Records
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all student transcripts.
Analyze student records to identify the appropriate credit track (18-credit, 24-credit, or GRAD track) for each student.
Prepare official transcripts for graduates and withdrawal transcripts for current and former students upon request.
Work closely with Student Advisors and Deans to address and resolve credit discrepancies or transcript inaccuracies.
Assist students with the college application process by submitting transcripts to colleges and universities as requested.
Ensure all transcript processes adhere to academic regulations and institutional policies.
Conduct thorough research to understand how credit systems function in other countries.
