Respiratory Therapist - RRTDescription : We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a member of the respiratory therapy team, you will provide critical care to patients with respiratory disorders and work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. A respiratory therapist is trained and skilled to assess, diagnose, and treat patients who have difficulty breathing. They work with people of all ages, from infants to the elderly, in conjunction with physicians and nurses to come up with treatment plans aimed at best helping restore as much natural breathing function as possible.Meeting with and examining patients who have pulmonary diseases, disorders, or complicationsConducting, performing, and analyzing diagnostic and function tests to assess lung capacity and capabilityTreating patients with aerosol medications and chest physiotherapyEvaluating progress of treatmentAdministering inhalantsDocumenting care by updating charts and recordsOperating mechanical ventilators and other machinesQualifications : Must be a graduate of an AMA Accredited Respiratory Therapy program and credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Certified (CRT) or Registered (RRT) Respiratory TherapistMust be a licensed RRT or CRTBasic Life Support Certification (BLS)One year of clinical experience preferred
