Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Technologist - Night ShiftEligible for a $10, Sign-On Bonus!MLR Healthcare is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Technologist (MLT / MT) to perform diagnostic testing based on physician orders under the supervision of the Clinical Director. This role requires expertise aligned with the individual's education, training, and experience. Key responsibilities include maintaining lab equipment, conducting quality assessments, and managing workloads efficiently. Additionally, the role may involve mentoring lab staff and students with the approval of the laboratory director.Key Responsibilities : Foster a positive work environment to enhance departmental effectiveness.Engage in continuous learning to adopt new techniques and best practices.Perform venipuncture accurately across all patient age groups to ensure high specimen quality.Conduct precise testing in designated departments and resolve any issues that arise.Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) for quality control, document corrective actions, and make informed decisions regarding patient results.Process proficiency samples, document critical values, and maintain confidentiality when releasing results.Participate in competency testing and ongoing professional development.Maintain certification and actively participate in in-service education and meetings.Requirements : Registered MLT / MT with valid credentials (ASCP, AMT, ASMT, or equivalent).Proficient in operating laboratory instruments and interpreting results.Strong communication skills with patients, medical staff, and customers.Ability to address the needs and limitations of patients across all age groups.Benefits : Comprehensive benefits packagepetitive salary.Opportunities for professional growth and development.And more!Apply Now for Immediate Consideration!
