Responsibilities include injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation, developing conditioning programs, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.Educational Requirements : Minimum Level : Bachelor's degreeDegree Type : Bachelor of Science or equivalentMajor / Area of Study : Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or equivalentPreferred Experience : 1-3 years of relevant experienceLicensure / Certifications : Current Athletic Training license in the State of Ohio.Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification.National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification.Responsibilities : Provide on-site athletic training at designated schools and community events as instructed.Deliver prevention, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, and reconditioning.Ensure accurate and timely documentation adhering to Premier Health standards.Engage in continuous education and stay abreast of industry trends.Participate in public speaking engagements to raise awareness and educate on sports medicine.Contribute to cost management initiatives within the sports medicine department.Demonstrate excellent customer service for athletes and stakeholders.Work with other sports medicine team members to enhance effectiveness.
