In this important role, you will perform various nuclear medicine procedures that support the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare to our community.Key Responsibilities : Conduct nuclear medicine procedures, such as SPECT scans, PET scans, bone scans, cardiac stress tests, and thyroid uptake studies.Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals following hospital protocols.Operate advanced imaging equipment like gamma cameras and PET / CT scanners to produce high-quality images.Ensure patient comfort and safety during all procedures.Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to provide accurate and timely imaging reports.Maintain detailed records of patient information, procedure specifics, and radiopharmaceutical usage.Follow radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure.Ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and report any issues promptly.Qualifications and Requirements : Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.Current certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) in nuclear medicine.State licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment and related software.Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, radiopharmaceuticals, and radiation safety protocols.Apply now for immediate consideration!
