Cardiovascular Sonographer Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound procedures, including vascular and echocardiographic imaging.
Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort and safety during exams.
Utilize advanced ultrasound equipment to capture precise diagnostic images.
Collaborate with physicians to provide detailed assessments and reports.
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in line with hospital policies.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain equipment in optimal condition.
Echo Tech Qualifications:
ARDMS certification in Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) (required).
BLS certification (must be completed before start).
Proven expertise in vascular and echocardiographic imaging.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Prior experience in an acute-care hospital setting is preferred but not required.
