MLR is partnering with a respected hospital to recruit a skilled Ultrasound Technician for a full-time, permanent position . In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound exams, ensuring diagnostic precision and patient comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Shift: Day shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with on-call duties one day per week and weekend rotations every fourth weekend.
Examinations: Perform detailed ultrasound exams in areas such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and small parts.
Patient Care: Prepare and reassure patients, explaining procedures and ensuring their safety throughout.
Collaboration: Work with radiologists and healthcare providers to interpret images and provide accurate diagnostic information.
Documentation: Maintain thorough records of patient information, exam details, and image storage.
Ultrasound Technician Qualifications :
Education: Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
Certification: Current ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification in relevant specialties.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technician, preferably in a hospital setting.
