About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team. This role involves performing various ultrasound exams, delivering high-quality care to patients, and collaborating with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasounds in multiple areas, including abdomen, pelvis, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts.
Independently conduct exams while following ergonomic best practices.
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, their families, and healthcare providers.
Ensure patient privacy and comfort in a respectful and caring environment.
Complete necessary paperwork, perform exam-related research, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the exam rooms.
Manage and update supplies, ensuring the exam rooms are properly stocked.
Utilize RIS/PACS systems efficiently for scheduling exams and managing patient information.
Work collaboratively within a team, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude.
Additional certifications in other modalities are a plus.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited ultrasound training program with an AS/BS degree.
RDMS certification
Abdomen and OB/GYN certifications required
Vascular certification preferred
Current BLS for healthcare providers, or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
Successful completion of internal background check.
