Sonographer- Cardiovascular
MLR, in collaboration with a well-established healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Sonographer to join their team for a full-time, day shift position. The role involves performing diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound procedures, preparing preliminary reports, and ensuring the highest standards of imaging quality. As part of a collaborative healthcare team, you will play an essential role in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform cardiovascular ultrasound exams, accurately documenting results in the electronic health record system.
Generate initial diagnostic reports for physician review, promptly communicating any critical findings in accordance with department protocols.
Maintain necessary professional certifications and stay current with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements.
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and diagnostic outcomes.
Sonographer- Cardiovascular Qualifications:
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience : At least 1 year of on-the-job training or graduation from an accredited ultrasound program.
Certifications : RDCS or RCS certification in adult echocardiography, or RVT/RVS in vascular ultrasound (or to be obtained within 1 year of hire), and CPR certification.
Skills : Strong proficiency in performing cardiovascular and vascular ultrasound procedures, knowledge of related equipment, and willingness to participate in ongoing training and meetings. Availability to work on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays.
